I was told of the passing of Rita a couple of days ago. I wish for all of you a measure of comfort during this difficult time. Your parents, Rita and Earl, and you, Arthur, Amy, and Richard, were connected to the Young family is so many important ways. As lifelong friends to my parents, and as mentors to us kids (Larry & Jeff), I remember so many happy moments when we were together -- at your house and ours. Your parents always took an interest in us, showed us kindness, and lifted our spirits. I respected and trusted them and I am grateful for that. That time of life is at once long gone and but right here when I bring them forth in memory. I do think of them and the set of New York friends (Kafton, Gaines, Zwirn) often. My condolences to the entire family, and I wish you all many blessings ahead.
