For my mom who was #4 among her siblings from her #4 of her children, whether imagined or not I always felt a special connection. I will miss you and our ritual of daily calls so you would know that I arrived home safely. I loved the strength you showed and the love you expressed even if it was the just the holding of each other's hands. I will carry your love in my heart forever. You have arrived home safely and I am sure that Dad was there to welcome you.

My memory of Bertha is a statuesque redhead, fellow redhead! And her smiles. I remember she was always quick with a smile.
