Anne Bercow, 85, of Palm Desert, California, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2024, surrounded by family.
Anne was born on April 15th, 1939 to Michael and Helen Kelson in Chicago. After Anne graduated from North Hollywood High School, she married George Bercow in 1959. Anne and George went on to have 2 children, Mark and Michelle.
Together, Anne and George built a successful printing business and spent their time giving back to the community. Anne was an honorary member of the Rotary Club of Simi Sunrise. She loved spending time playing cards with friends, reminiscing with family, and watching sports, especially her beloved Dodgers and Lakers. She always brought the family together for holidays, and her delicious food, including her grandchildren’s favorites: her famous baked beans and potato salad. Anne will be remembered for her infectious laugh, meaningful stories and love of family.
Anne was predeceased by father Michael Kelson, mother, Helen Kelson, and brother Gary Kelson. She is survived by husband George Bercow, children Mark Bercow (Dawn) and Michelle Foster (Craig), grandchildren Heather Foster, Michael Foster (Rochelle), Alexander Bercow, Sophia Bercow, and Mia Bercow, brother Paul Kelson, and brother-in-law, Marty Bercow.
Services will be held at Mt. Sinai Memorial Park in Simi Valley on Wednesday, May 8 at 10:00 AM. A reception will be held immediately afterwards in Moorpark.
