Dr. Elwood Cohen, a long-time mountain resident and prominent figure in our community, has died. Dr. Cohen passed away on December 9, 2023. Dr. Cohen’s medical career spans over 60 years with the past 22 years, serving the Lake Arrowhead community. He retired earlier this year from his esteemed medical practice. He will be missed by his family, friends, staff, and countless patients whose lives he's touched.

Dr. Cohen was born in Woodbury City, New Jersey on July 27, 1935, to Pheobe and Maurice Cohen, he is proceeded in death by his wife of 41 years, Anne Cohen. He is survived by his twin sister, Rita Joyce, older brother Dr. Leon Cohen, his six children: Michelle Cohen, Jeffery (Debbie) Cohen, Craig (Dee) Cohen, Brian (Liza) Cohen, Stacy (Paul) Cohen-Berrera, and Brandi Cohen, grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
