I didn't know Sandy had moved into a senior care building. Around the same dates, so did I. We talked on the phone and had dinner together and, from time to time. Isn't she beautiful and like so many, she always ended a call or appointment with "I love you" She was my role model and I could never reach level. Last time I saw her was at a simple gathering after Paul died. She came up to me, and I think Susan was there. She quietly said were all that's left now. She was referring to me and Susan since we we just a couple of years apart. She called me every time she was in town. I never thought it would be her. I wish I had cleared time to spend more time with her. Who now will tell me that they love me.

Sandy and I stood together at graveside services for almost eleven years. Her incredible love, comfort and leadership helped her families get through the toughest of times. It was an honor to serve with her and to see her in action. She was and always will be a "class act." She was the best and I love her for it. Thanks again for all the great conversations, the humor and the genuine care.

Sandy Fine had a generous spirit, great sense of humor, and impeccable timing. She was a mentor, but more importantly, a friend.. She has been and will be sorely missed at Harbor Lawn - Mt Olive, but she always has a place in my heart. Sandy, it was always good to see you.

My heart is with Sandy’s children who loved her so deeply. We all knew Sandy as bigger than life. Sandy never walked into a room unnoticed. While celebrating Chanukah at Dee Dee’s, Sandy entered the room with theatrical presence. The room quieted while Sandy belted out: I HAVE ARRIVED!
You now have arrived home, Sandy. Flying and singing with the stars. Your presence is always with us and sending my deepest condolences to Dee Dee, Bette & Bonnie.

While working at Mount Sinai, I met Sandy at a service we both were working. She was confident, professional, and compassionate in her duties, and it was enjoyable to be around her humorous yet compassionate nature. I would imagine her friends and family have many stories that will bring never ending smiles to their faces. Sandy was a pleasure to be around!
