Brittany was one of my first friends in San Luis Obispo.
Late 80s. I moved to SLO to go to college. We had great fun together. I frequently had sleepovers at her moms house.
She was a beauty and her laugh was infectious.
We lost touch but then Facebook brought us back together.
We were excited to find out our boys are the same age! 14 now. She will be missed! Love Shannon and Anthony

Brittany was one of my best friend’s. The bond we shared was unlike any i have ever experienced. She has always felt like family to me and my family. My husband, son, daughters and parents adored Brittany. And likewise I fell in love with her beautiful boys whom I love dearly and Glenn, Heidi, Kathy, Her Mama and the whole Buxton Crocker family! Brittany helped me in ways she’ll never even know. I will always be grateful for that. She had this ability to make you feel so loved, so accepted, so important and pushed you to your greatness! She saw your worth and made YOU see it. We shared this deep spiritual bond. We spoke for hours about spirituality, meditation, The meaning of life and our kids, husbands, friendships, life and everything in between. We shared trips, memories and laughed so much. This has been such a devastating loss. One I have mourned so deeply. I still can’t believe it’s real. There’s so much more I could say, but I’ll end it with this…. You are an Angel Brittany. You were put on this earth to help people, to touch lives in a deep and meaningful way. I am glad you’re finally done suffering. I hope you are reading a good book, with your candle in a beautiful Utopia in perfect peace. I can’t wait for the moment our souls meet again and we can be together, forever ♾

For Brittany’s 50th, we all took a girl’s trip to Dana pointe and stayed at Jill’s beach house. That weekend we went to the beach, ate good food, got our nails done, went shopping etc. Me and Brit went exploring that Sunday and for the honor of joining Buzz (Brittanys dad) for church in San Clemente. We held hands and sang together in prayer laughing and crying at how powerful the music was. I will never forget that weekend and the precious moments we shared together. We were more than friends, we were soul sisters.

Our sweet beautiful Brittany was so special but I don’t think she ever believed that. When Brittany loved she loved with everything she had to give and she gave so much. The world lost an Angel.

My dear Brittany, although I hadn't seen you in years, I always remember that precocious little dark-haired girl you were and then that beautiful young woman. You were often in my thoughts. I'm so very sorry. There's a poem written by Sylvan Kamens and Rabbi Jack Riemer that gives me some peace, as I hope it will to your family:

I never had the opportunity to take a picture with Brittany but the day after her passing I saw this bald eagle and I immediately thought of her. The feelings that I felt while watching this bird made me think of her strength, unique character and beauty. As a youngster I always looked up to Brittany. She went out of her way to make me feel supported and loved during a very difficult time in my life. I will always remember her and miss her.
