Obituary of Shirley Berko

Shirley Sue Berko February 27, 1934 - July 11, 2021 Shirley Berko, 87, is survived by her children, daughter Grace Hasson, daughter Brenda (Edmon) Rodman, daughter Holly (David) Factor, son Joe (Sara) Hasson, daughter Bonnie (Larry) Bann, son Dean (Lona) Berko, grandchildren Perry, Reina, Elan, Benzi, Micah, Reed, Nikki, Natalie, Cindy (Chris), Trevor (Melissa), and 7 great-grandchildren. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Shirley was born in St. Louis, MO to Burton (Sylvia) Bierman and grew up in Los Angeles. She was a devoted leader of Temple Beth Emet of Anaheim, serving as the first female president of the congregation. Funeral services will be at gravesite at 1:30 pm, on Wednesday, July 14 at Home of Peace.
