Bob was just a really nice guy. I remember when I had a telephone interview with Donovan, the folk/rock icon. Studio B, the KLON production studio, was taken over just minutes before my scheduled call. I needed the studio for all the obvious reasons. Bob saw that I was in a bind and found me the recording gear and phone attachments so that I could record the interview from one of the offices. He saved the day. Bob was also generous with his time and if you wanted to learn a particular broadcast skill set, he was willing to teach you. He will be missed.
