Lynn...Since we first became friends at 15, the years of knowing your Mom have been filled with so many sweet and happy memories. Allegra was always cheerful
and kind and in your parents home she made all your friends feel welcome.
In later years at holiday celebrations in your home we always "chatted it up" like
"girlfriends." I admired her sensibility and felt the comfort of her genuine caring.
I know how many of your friends have come to know and love her...but I like to think that I AM her greatest fan.....
With heartfelt feelings for her loss...you are so blessed to have a beautiful
lifetime of memories....
Love...Julie

My husband and I have sweet memories of dearest Allegra. We looked forward to chatting with her at the many family get togethers in the Sonderling home. Her mind was sharp and she was informed of current events. She was always ready with an opinion or funny quip about something she had heard on the news.
I treasure my colorful collection of knitted “Allegra scarves” which she gave as gifts to the ladies at the Sonderling annual Hanukkah party.
Blessings to the family.

Allegra is the Queen of the family, universally loved and admired. Always positive, caring and so very sharp. We looked forward to every single visit with her, however brief. One of my earliest memories is of swimming in Allegra and Al's pool with Auntie Marie watching over me... always followed with delicious Sephardic goodies waiting for me. Allegra is actually my cousin, but was always my Auntie and always will be. You are so missed, by so many people. You will always live in our thoughts.
