Lou was one of my uncle Sheldon Schecter’s best friends. They both practiced law in Cleveland. I first met him through his summer secretary Karen - who I was to marry. When I moved to California and joined the temple who was to meet me at High Holiday Services but Lou. Of course Lou and Shirley - such a sweet sweet person - were invited to my son Jacob‘s bar mitzvah and we were happy to entertain them. I regret that I didn’t know about his passing until after his funeral but I’m happy to make a contribution to the temple in his honor.
