Born in Chicago, Sylvia moved to California in 1951 and lived most of her life in the San Fernando Valley. An author, Sylvia wrote several books about Hollywood celebrities and was writing up until the time of her death. She is predeceased by her husband, Max and survived by her loving family, son Barry (Adrienne) Resnick, grandsons Scott (Sarah) Resnick and Bryan (Shoshana) Resnick, and great-grandchildren, Max, Jack and Arielle, plus many cousins and friends.
