Marlisse was outgoing and always full of life. She enjoyed being with people and especially loved parties, both throwing parties for her friends and attending parties. She also liked other activities such as getting together with friends for walks.
One recent memory I have is being surprised running into Marlisse and Peter at the top of a wilderness trail late at night in my neighborhood even though Marlisse didn't live in my neighborhood. Although I didn't recognize either of them in the dark, I immediately recognized Marlisse's voice when she called my name. Marlisse and Peter joined me on the way down the trail and Marlisse was, as always very bubbly, wanting to know how my wife and I were doing and giving me all the latest information.
Marlisse was kind enough to join us recently for my mother-in-law's Shiva, and I did not expect that we would be doing the same for her so soon afterward. We will definitely miss Marlisse.
