I want to extend my deep condolences to the Finkelstein family, Dave actively participated along with Teresa in House of Peru (San Diego, CA) for many years, we always appreciated the time he spent with us at Balboa Park, always kind and easy to talk to. Always eager to help and always present.

David disliked nick names or shortened versions of given names. Even as an elementary schoolboy he always introduced himself as David. Never “Dave.” He always called me “Stephen” as do most of my closest friends. I remember and thank him for this shared value whenever I first meet anyone.
