Irv, I am so sorry and devastated for you and your family. Lenore, and you, were my guiding light during troubled times and, although we haven't communicated in a very long time, her passing leaves a hole in my heart. Never before have I had a friend that exuded such positivity and love. Her love of life was infectious and her love for you was monumental. I am so sorry for your loss and for everyone who was fortunate enough to have Lenore in their lives.

Lenore and I became friends in the late 70's when we signed her to Polydor Records and she wowed with a huge disco hit, 'FIRST BE A WOMAN". We all enjoyed many fun, musical evenings at the discos in NY and Paris of that era.
Leonore and I kept in infrequent touch throughout the years When I lived in California we largely connected through our mutual friend, the late, wonderful Dick Kline, who promoted her hit, became a good friend and who passed last year. We largely lost contact after around 2000 when I moved to Florida... but Leonore was in my thoughts with positive memories. Yesterday I heard her hit and started to see where she was and if I could see how she was doing... only to discover her passing.
Leonore was a talented, fun, beautiful and charming lady. May she rest in peace.

Our sincerest condolences for your loss; words cannot adequately convey our sorrow and grief. We will always remember Lenore’s warmth and her kindness, and how when she spoke to you, you felt so special - like you were the only other person in the room. Mostly we will miss her smile and one-of-a-kind laugh which has left an indelible mark on our hearts. We are sending you all love and light.

Dearest Lenore,
You were the most compassionate person I have ever known.
Your beauty on the outside eclipsed by your beauty inside.
You will always be in my heart.
Time to rest now, in the arms of the God you loved so deeply..
