Justin Thomas Wells- July 20, 1982-November 14, 2019. Passed away at the age of 37 in Los Angeles, California. Justin is survived by his husband, Zachary Ament, soon to be born son, Justin, loving dog Diego, parents, Jim and Gina Wells, Sister Lyndsey Butler, Brother in Law Sean Butler, nephew and godson Noah Butler. Also survived by Father and Mother in Law Marvin Ament and Judith Brill, brother in laws Michael and David Ament. Survived by grandmother Anna Repko, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins that loved him. Justin is also survived by his Village, his “SoBros” and all the lives he saved and touched in the recovery community.
Justin spent the majority of his adult life helping others through the struggles of addiction. He created with his business partners and best friends, sober livings and a treatment center that continues to thrive, grow, and save hundreds and hundreds of lives. Because of the love he shared with those around him, families have been created and other families have been mended, lives have begun again, and men and women from all walks of life now get a chance to explore their futures.
Service to celebrate and honor Justin’s life will be held at Hollywood Forever Cemetery on November 19, 2019 at 1pm. Service will be led by Rabbi Max Chaiken. Pallbearers will be David Ament, Michael Ament, Dave Bifulco, Sean Butler, Justin Frazier, Michael Moreno, Mikey Shahin, and Justin White,
The family requests privacy after the service. People will be able to pay their respects and share their stories and love in a public memorial in early December which will be announced soon.
