Dr. Richard Ross Obituary

Richard Michael Ross, MD passed away on February 14, 2025 after a hard fought 2-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Richard is survived by his beloved husband, Nattawat (A) Uooppanan Ross, his mother Lorraine Ross, sister, Dr. Sheryl Ross, sister-in-law, Dr. Peggy Gutierrez, nephew’s Michael, Stephen and Jonathan Becker and Kritsada Srinurat. Richard was born on March 26, 1959 to Lorraine and Martin Ross, MD, in Los Angeles, California. After Richard graduated from college, he attended Sackler School of Medicine in Tel-Aviv, Israel, receiving his Medical Degree, and went on to practice internal medicine with a focus on HIV care.

Everyone who knew Richard would describe him as an incredibly caring, kind, generous and loving man. One of his greatest qualities was the kindness and respect he gave to all those he met. Richard loved to travel the world and during his lifetime went to 60 countries. Richard and, his husband A, went on to start a successful massage business called Heaven Massage in Studio City.

He was greatly loved by his family and his Thai family!

Services will be held, Thursday, February 20th at 1:30pm at Mount Sinai Memorial Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, California.
