Posts to the tribute of Sheldon Razin

I had the opportuntity to meet this great person Shelly Razin. He was a great friend with My Dad. This is a sad loss. My he rest in peace with God forever.

Hello Janet, David and Mark. I'm quite sorry to read of Sheldon's passing. My father Americus Bruno, worked with Sheldon at Autonetics/ North American Aviation in Anaheim. Janet, I met you at Americus funeral in 2011. You said, Americus was involved in computers, before anyone knew what they were for. I want to give my condolences to you and Sheldon's extended family. Shelly was such a brilliant man. He was so animated when he spoke, very down to earth, humble and self effacing. It was such a pleasure to meet him briefly in Westminster, along with Alan Beek, Lester Kilpatrick and some of my late father's other coworkers. Perhaps this will console you and bring you solace. People often say that person is in a better place. However, Shelly will always be in your heart, thoughts and memories. You never forget the person you love. He is always there with you, and you carry this love and these thoughts and memories of him with you for as long as live. Timothy Bruno

Hello Janet, David, and Mark. I am so sorry that I did not hear of Shelly's passing until about a month ago. I was the 9th employee of QSI, and what a wild ride those early years were. I was Donna Doty ("D Dot D) back then. In those early years it was easy to get to know Shelly because we were such a small company and had weekly meetings around the long conference table. Everyone who was not out of town with our many clients were required to attend, and I learned so much because of that. Shelly was generous with his praise for me, though I admit I often wondered why! I remember you well, Janet. The last time I saw you and Shelly was when Bob and I ran into you at a favorite Laguna Beach restaurant. I was running for Riveride City Council then, and Shelly made a generous campaign contribution. Sadly, Bob also passed away from cancer, in 2018. My heart breaks for you especially, Janet. I might not recognize David and Mark today as it has been so long, but I remember them as smart and handsome "kids". Shelly was so larger-than-life, and I'm sure there is a huge void for you all.
